Reviews
The Savernake Big Belly Oak' is a wonderful collection of tiny stories for tiny people, inspired by one of the most mighty ancient and veteran oaks in the country. It gives a glimpse of Savernake Forest through the seasons and the last story leaves us excited to find out more about the "Other Big Oak Trees in the Forest". I guarantee that once you have read the book to your children, the next time you drive past Big Belly Oak, your head will be full of fantastic tales and you'll be itching to take a walk in Savernake to discover other mighty old trees!

What a lovely book!
What a wonderful idea to give such a warm and friendly character to a (real!) beautiful old oak tree in a (real!) beautiful old forest, with lots of friends to keep the tale vibrant and full of life:
So many happy stories and beautifully illustrated throughout, you could be forgiven for thinking you have just stumbled upon a 21st Century Beatrix Potter.
Your children will love this book and will probably want more and more Tree stories very soon!
